So who are we and why are we doing this?

And why are we called "Vino Rosso"?
Who are we? We are teachers of art and history from Ireland, America and Australia. We love Rome and we've made it our home.
Our aim: It is our aim to enrich your experience of Rome by sharing with you our knowledge and passion of the city's fascinating past and present.
Why we're the most affordable: It's simple, as a collective there is no operator taking a cut. The tour fee goes straight to the guide and we pass the savings on to you.
Why we're special: We love kids and we are happy to gear your family's tour to their special needs. Our staff includes a number of well experienced educators who appreciate the special demands of the young.
Why we're the best: We are all native English speakers and collectively we have an enormous amount of experience in providing tours that bring Rome's past to life. We tell the stories of the people that make up Rome's history: the emperors, the artists, the popes and the poets.

 

And why "Vino Rosso"? Vino rosso, ("red wine") is a staple of Italian life, and for us a living symbol of Roman culture for three millenia. Good food, good wine, good conversation - these are as important to the Roman experience as a visit to the Colosseum and a walk through the Sistine Chapel. We pride ourselves upon providing you with an opportunity to experience all of these aspects of Roman life, as well as sharing our knowledge of and passion for this fine city.
